Page Number of current selection 1

Does anyone know how to return the current pagenumber from a selection in the activeDocument?

It seems straight forward enough yet I can't figure it out. All page number refences are in header/footer collection.

I must be missing something obvious. Any ideas?

I should mention the application is MS Word 2000
