I have quite a few asp.net pages which I integrate into a Dreamweaver template forcing the ASP bits into 1 table cell. It sort of works but the big problem is when I have a page that gets long in length usually due to a repeater or datagrid. As the cell is enclosed on all sides by other cells (navigation bars, headers, fotters etc) including the bottom, I have to make this cell long enough to hold the content of all the controls in it.

My question then is how does one know how long a grid has become once it's been populated with a databind() so I can make the template cell the controls are sitting in long enough.
Getting the height is no good as that just returns the value set at compile time.
Thanks
