Hi

Apologies to all if this has been covered. I did do a search and cannot find anything. I am thinking that somehow I need to do Page header->Format section->Suppress and I am thinking i can do something like Absent(field name) where field name appears in all the pages except my last? Anyway - i want my own report last page headings - and I am guessing this is how I should go about it.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

The last page can be identified using the onlastrecord function.

So to change the page header on the last page, right click the page header and select insert section below.

Now place the new fields/text in there. Right click each of the page headers and select format section->X-2 next to suppress and base the suppression on one of the following:

not(onlastrecord) //new custom header
and
onlastrecord // usual header

Hope this handles it.

OnLastRecord will not work for this. You could easily have a page with 20+ records on it, and the page header will still print.

I believe you will have to use a formula of:
PageNumber=TotalPageCount to get this effect.

Hi,

Please can you elaborate on how I merge the 2 ideas. Have to admit that i got the suggestion by synapsevampire in ok, but not sure where I merge the idea by dgillz into the solution?

Thanks

Many thanks to you both.

I can now move on with my development.
