Hi all,
I just realized that in Access, everything (text boxes, even Report header, etc) have the property "can grow" and "can strink", but only page header doesn't! (why?) When I put a big "can grow text box" - which contains many lines - in the page header, the bottom lines are missing in report preview since the text box did grow but the page header containing it doesn't! I can put that text box in page header only since I want it to appear in every page. Can I do a VBA code to make the page header to adjust its size by itself?

I have a couple of books that say "Controls located in the page header or the page footer will grow to, at most, the height of the section. Neither the page header nor the page footer section itself can grow or shrink."

It seems pretty clear that you will have to set the height of your text box to accomodate the maximum number of lines that will occur in there.

You can create a new top level sorting and grouping expression with a field/expression of:
=1
Set the Group Header to Yes. Then view the properties of the =1 Group Header and set the Repeat Section property to Yes. Use this Group Header in place of your Page Header.

Hi Duane

Nice one! Couldn't have come up with that myself. Here's your star!
