Hi,

When I run my reports using an embedded version of Crystal Reports 10 that is part of our BusinessVision ERP system, I get a "Page header or footer longer than a page".

Does anyone know why this is? It only occurs depending on the month for which I run the report. Let me know if you need more details.

Is this happening when month name is a longer like December vs May?
I think your header is included Text& "" & Month type of formula and when it is May it's fine but when it is December there is not enough space for it so try to have it in 2 lines or adjust CanGrow property so it will get wider and will accomodate as many characters as you need.

Actually it's happening because I have a subreport in the report footer section which may run several pages. However I don't really know why this is causing an error only for certain months. Usually, if the subreport extends multiple pages, it will print multiple pages for it.

Do you have some special values in the page header or footer?

You could try using alternative page headers and footers. Suppress the normal ones at the end of report, recordnumber = total count

I would verify that the subreport is in the report footer and NOT in the page footer.
