Hi peeps...

I've got a report that has 1 level of groupings with a group headder, and a page headder...

basically, what I want is to have the page headders show but NOT when I have a group headder...

I'm sure there's a simple way to do this, but I can't figure it out...

Any tips welcome...

Thanks

Huh? Aren't you always going to have group headers? Do you mean to not show a page header when there might be a group header at the top of the page?

well, there may be more than 1 page of information for each group, and if that's the case, then the group will go over the next page.
In such a situation, I want only the Page headders to show.

However when there is a group headder at the top of the page, I Don't want to show the page headder

i.e.
Code:
[b]GroupHeadder[/b] <-
[b]field1 field1 field1 field1[/b] <-group headder
values values values values
values values values values
-------------new page-------------------
[b]field1 field1 field1 field1[/b] <-page headder
values values values values
values values values values

hope that makes more sense

Can you just use Group Headers with their "Repeat Section" property set to true? If you have column headings in the the Group Headers, this would allow you to leave off the Page headers.

Otherwise, I would place column headings in only the Page Header sections. I can't imagine how you would determine in code if the page was beginning with a new group header (other than the first page).
