I have a report that has two page footers (English or Spanish) that will print depending on a parameter selection. That works fine, but both print about an inch too high.

Each page footer is about an inch tall, contains a box with text and a jpg image - the image is cropped very small and does not come near the borders of the section.

Other than the Conditional Suppression, the only property checked for these Page footers is "Relative Position" - and I have tried running the report with that unchecked.

My bottom page margin is 0.166

Any ideas?

I suspect you may be running into a limit on your printer. Many printers have a margin size in which they will not print. So, even if the page margin in your report is .166, if the printer won't print within a .5 inch margin, this could be what's causing the issue.

Thaks for the suggestion. I had changed that margin in an attempt to get the footer to move down, it was originally .5

Other reports print with the footer at the bottom of the page, it's just this one that doesn't (probably should have said that originally).

Crystal has an annoying feature of reserving space for page Footers. So even if you conditionally suppress the space it still reserved.

Instead of having two different PFs use one and conditionally suppress the objects instead.Looks messy in designer but will be oK on execution provided you have your conditional suppression set up correctly.

You can also use Reserve Minimum Page Footer under the Page Footer section settings. Space is then reserved for the largest of your page footers instead of for all of them.
