I know this thread has been addressed before, but I did most or all of the tips in two major threads. Including deleting hot keys and other things. This is the error message,

EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in
module SHELL32.DLL at 0177:66801af2.

The :0177 address is not addressed in any posts or M/S tech. pages. This also only happens in one profile and not in the other. This problem occurs when trying to browse files from the desktop or through and explorer window.I sometimes can navigate around and do some work and other times I can't even open a folder on the Desktop. Any advice would be appreciated, tr

Here's all of the MS articles that I could find regarding the message:

If you have already tried these or they are N/A, then see if replacing the shell32.dll file helps(Use System File Checker and a Windows install CD to replace it in Win 98).
