G'day all,

I Installed the upgraded Version of Incredimail email program, I try to add a new account/address, I get the abouve error(that is the details of the error) The error stated the Program Performed an Illegal Act and will close. I looked through archives, was unablt to find any informayion that may help me solve problem. I even removed and reinstalled, same problem, is it possible someone may have some ideas on the cause and the fix?

uninstall Incredi-poop
Update JAVA from here;

get this file;
J2RE_1_4_2_04_WINDOWS_I586_.EXE
use ctrl+alt+del after a good boot to end all tasks except Explorer and Systray, then install

Re-install incredi-crud

it's supposed to be mostly dots [...] not underscores[ _ _ ] in between the numbers 1.4.2_xx (xx = variable btween 1 and 99)

you only need the JRE (Java Runtime Environment) - not the SDK (Software Developers Kit)...look around the Java site for more info, but the SDK contains tools and is larger
I'm not entirely sure that this will fix the problem, but got to start somewhere....eh?

Invalid Page Faults (IPFs) indicate a DLL was trying to access an area of MEM that's protected and possibly doing so out of sync as well - and the can be a PITA to hunt down and isolate.

Also - just to follow up
I'm seeing a LOT of Inc mail probs like yours through a google.
When you Uninstall Incredipoop, before rebooting, go into the \WINDOWS\Downloaded Programs File folder and Delete it's ActiveX control there.
Then Delete it's Folder from C:\Program Files
Delete your internet caches

--- then reboot

Best to Install and Run SpyBot and Adaware after doing a Fully updated Antivirus scan.
