Page Fault Error with PVXODB32.dll

Has anyone experienced "invalid page fault" errors when accessing a database (MAS 90 in this case) through a DSN connection? I am using RDO in a VB app to run a dynamic SQL statement which selects the one column from one. It worked once but will not again. I rebooted client and server boxes.
The dll referenced is PVXODB32.dll.

Exactly what is a Page Fault Error anyway?
