Page Extension Button

I want to know how to program a button to page an extension (also want to know if person is on phone). But how do I accomplish this?
Can it be done from my phone - MLX16DP

If you want to use one button to "page" an extention vs. ringing the extention - you will need to put that extention into a "paging group" through system programming - and then program an autodial button for that paging group on your phone - or - use a 2-step process - press the Ext Voice button or SA-Voice button first and then touch a programmed inside autodial button for the extention.

To monitor an extention - you simply create an inside autodial button for it on a button with lights. When the light by the button is lit - the extention is off-hook, when it is off - the phone is not in use.
