Hello all,

I'm having problem stretching a leftside sub-navigation down along with the righside main page.

No matter how long the right side get to be, the left will only stop right at the end of all the sub-navigation links

My code is (in short)
on top:
<div logo></div>
<div nav></div>
on left side:
<div sub-nav></div>
on right side:
<div main></div>

please!!!

In your code (as posted) none of the <div>s know how big the other is. A height parameter for a child element will only respond to the immediate parent container element and then only if it is a fixed pixel height (in some browsers).

What is happening in your case, as the <div>s are in the body, The height is defaulting to auto and each <div> height will adjust to fit the contents.

Chris.

Indifference will be the downfall of mankind, but who cares?
