I ran spybot on my XP Home pc and now I can't display any pages. It doesent matter if I switch users I still can't view any web pages.

I have checked every setting in that I know. I have even reset the TCP/IP and still no luck.

Although I can't get to the internet I can see all my computers on my home network. I can also send and receive email.

Please Help!

I doubt whether spybot caused this - but spybot keeps a backup of files removed, so click the recovery button and undo it.

Sounds like an "add-in" program took over I.E. When you (SpyBot) removed the offending program, I.E. quit. Did you try a complete I.E. repair?

Please Download hijackthis from

Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

After the scan has finished the "scan" button will turn into a "save log" button

save the log file and paste it here

Do not delete anything yet, as most things hijackthis finds are harmless and needed.
