BCM400 version 4, installed for 2 years. Customer reported a few weeks back that the desktop users were getting the error 'page cannot be displayed' when generating reports.

Engineer attended last week to load the latest service patches for desktop and system.

He followed the procedure outlined in Nortel documentation and the issue still exists. You get the same message if running the report from the RCC server itself.

Dbfixutil shows no corruption, we have uninstalled the RCC application again, removed all traces of programming in the Nortel folder and re-installed again. Double checked the IIS settings.

From the server, the RCC connection to the BCM is established, Real time information works as it should. It is only the reports that we have an issue with.

Does anyone have any pointers on this one please.

Have you downloaded the new rcc from the BCM? If you have I would try uninstalling it again and also uninstalling the Mysql from the server as well and then reinstalling. I have had some luck with this in the past.

Done both of those, did not clear issue

Update to this. The customer was using a Raid array, and the primary HDD became corrupted.

After replacing HDD, re-install and everything now ok

I have found that the RAID in the BCM is useless, as I have had about 5 redundent systems have problems Locking up or Vmail not working and everyone of them was a Bad Primary HD, Installed a new HD as secondary and mov the old secondary to Primary and everything was OK.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
