Hello,

I have a report and there is data on it relating to a person. What i want to do is after each person, i want to force it on to the next page.

Here is an expample of the data

Name Jo Bloggs
Department Finance

Training type training date Issue
Microsoft Excel 21/7/03 1
Microst Word 16/7/04 1

Name Julie Smith
Department Finance

Training type training date Issue
Powerpoint 17/12/03 1

I want to be able to put a page break after all of the details relating to a perticular person. I have tried to force a new page after the details section, but this only shows the first training course and puts the next on a seperate page, rather than grouping the data realting to one perosn together. Ideally I would like to force a new page after the page footer, but there isn't an option to do so.

Many thanks in advance.

Parveen

If you have user a header in your report like say 'Name' then make sure that YOU set a 'Name' footer and place your page break there and that should keep all your records together and on individual pages

can you try Sorting and Grouping and Group by Name then you Select Keep Together option to Whold Group

also you can try this :

Right click on the Group header or footer indicator in report design view, look in the properties, set new page before / after as you wish
