I've added a web part zone and a shared web part to the bottom of a SharePoint page (a copy of the default site home page) using FrontPage2003. When I open up the page in a browser, the browser always jumps to the bottom right of the page. I don't see any property of either a Web Part zone or a web part that controls this behavior. Any ideas?

*SIGH*. Another productive thread.

Let me pass along the beneficial results of spending two hours on the phone and LiveMeeting with Microsoft PSS concerning this issue. This way you can save your money and support incident quota.

The specific Web part is the "Page Viewer" Web part. I pointed it at an OWA page. In a nutshell, ANY page you call from this Web part that requests the focus will exhibit this behavior. It's really an IFRAME, and they all do that. PSS says I'll have to roll my own custom Web Part to retrieve and display this info where I want it. Onward.
