I have an issue with a PA System connected on an Analogue on IPO SE 11.0.4.4. The issue is not with the IPO its with the PAGA system, you call in Say your message and then hang up. The PA System Plays your announcement plus 2 mins of NU tone over the PA.

The PAGA system accepts # as I'm done play the message, in which case it works. In later board versions on that system the PAGA detects the cleardown and sends the # itself. Now the obvious is tell the users to press # at the end of the call, to easy obviously.

They used to have an ISDX which in some way was doing this automatically on clear down from the originating phone. Is there a way to do this in the IPO, or another possibility I was playing with VMPro to record and deliver the message to the PA but unsure if its possible to add the # to the end of the announcement. I have it already recording the message and delivering it but still 2 mins of NU as I cant figure out how to add the #. Can you combine two wav's in a VMPro module (recorded message and a wav of the # tone) before the post dial sends it to the PA, or any other way?

On the Analogue station that connect to the paging system, go to the Extension, and the Analogue tab. Change the Equipment Classification from Standard Telephone to IVR Port. This will cause an open-loop disconnect signal to the paging equipment when the caller disconnects, and should stop the dial tone over the paging system.
