Packet 8

Does anyone have any expertice on this phone system. I worked with one before, but find it difficult for myself and customer. Have new customer that wants to know if he can have his own server do the work instead of packet 8. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

8X8 is the company that puts this system out. Has anyone installed one?

I've never come across the system. On the surface, it appears to be the VoIP equivalent of NoKSU phones sold by manufacturers like Panasonic, RCA and at&t.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

I took one in on a trade. They are Aastra 6755i phones. According to Aastra, you can factory default them.

I have never done it, because I'm still working on IP systems.
