I changed the motherboard on my PB 486DXz 66MHz and it tells me: "Invalid system disk, replace disk and hit any key"
I replaced the board with a used board that I think is good? I have tried to boot with a WIN98 disk but it won't read the CD ROM. Any thoughts?

check your bios to see that it is trying to boot from the CD-ROM, and that in actually can detect the CD-ROM.

Other than that, make sure that you've got all the cables in the right way and fully inserted.

If that doesn't work, it could well be a dodgy motherboard.
