Packard Bell Laptop not Booting

Hello
I have a Easynote H5264, one night I powered it off and the next morning I tried to boot it up and all I get is a black screen. The unit powers on but I get no beeps or activity from the HD, it sits there, can anybody guide me in the right direction for finding the fault please

Can you attach a seperate monitor and get a display?

No I get the same just a blank screen

Have you tried booting with a Windows CD in the drive?
