this is my first time to use a the packinging and deploy wizard.
when I ran the setup exe the wizard made on a win 2000 machine. I got an error message saying the "files are to old and need to be updated. If I want to update the files I will need to reboot before running setup again." Well I click yes to update but did not do the trick, I got the same error after run the setup exe again.
For starters, i noticed the package wizard assumed I wanted to install the files to c:\windows\system32 but on the win2000 it has of corse WINNT\system32 and not Windows\system32.
I try to change the instal location but the wizard only gives me the option to choose from $(WinSysPath) or $(AppPath) etc. It does not let me choose the path explicitly. How can I do this.
Do you think the setup error files are to old and need to be updated are related to where the setup exe is trying to copy the files to, windows\system32 verses WINNT\sytem32
thanks SO much in advance!!
