I recently installed the OS Deployment feature pack and I've managed to capture an image and push it out but I'm having troubles getting packages to install in the State Restore phase of the image deployment.
I go to add actions and I select select run software distribution program but when I drop down the menu to see what packages are availible there's only a fraction of what there should be.
Now I read somewhere that you can only install packages when the "Use software distribution account" is unchecked, which makes sense sense because we check that box on whenever the application being installed needs admin privleges. The software distribution account is specified as a domain admin account with lots of privleges so it makes the most sense, because I have no what account the program is being installed under if you don't have that box checked.
So I guess my question is, does anyone know what account SMS uses if the software distribution account box is unchecked? Also does anyone know why you can't simply use the software installation account?
Thanks for your help,
Isaac
