package and deployment - memory could not be written?

Although my VB6 application is compiling fine, when i come to use the package and deployment add-in, i firstly get the following error

'Unexpected error number 80010108 has occurred. Automation error. The object invoked has disconnected from its client'

if i press ok to come out th whole process just hangs, then if i exit out i get the following error

'The instruction at "0x66046195" referenced memory at "0x000000f0". The memory could not be "written" '

Has anyone out there got any ideas as i have run out ....
