yes, if the pc and g450 are configured correctly for network settings, cat 5 cable to eth port should work.
Using the services port on g450 to pc requires cat 5 crossover cable and would be the best connection method if the network access is an issue. From g450 prompt, you can use "session icc sat" and "session icc" to connect to CM.
