Hello,

I was wondering... I have a very nice P550 now and there is NO document which can tell me how to user the front operator panel and how to start in service mode or maintenance mode.
Can anyone help me ??
WHat is the menu structure of those buttons on the front panel ?
WHat is the startup sequence ??

The p5 documentation has never been published, it is available online, or on the HMC if you have one.

Thanks everybody.
It's a shame they did not bring out any P5 docs.
Even the startup sequence was decribed in the earlier documents and now its hard to find or not even there...
We supposed to do RTFM but if theres no manual it will be hard .

You get a couple of CDROMs with HW Information Center in different languages with every p5. No need to shred two or three trees in order to print books which will contain outdated info by the time they get to the customer.
Also it saves a few buck$$$ for IBM no doubt.
