Hi
we have a windows cluster (2008 R2 Enterprise 64-bit)
Both nodes of this cluster contain several 'single-node' sql server instances (sql 2008 R2)
The question is, is it ok to PV2 the lot ?
I'm suspecting each node of the windows cluster could be P2v'd but then we'd end up with sql cluster services installed but only one IP address ?
can't the sql IP address only be configured during installation ?
(i'll log this call in a windows forum also in case this question falls out of the bounds of a sql question)
many thanks
