We are running a P2P T-1 between offices - new install. Service provider didn't provide timing/clocking - we are providing it on each endpoint with Cajun P330Rs w/ 2DS1 mods. The T-1 was going down frequently while we were programming the Cajun switches the first day. Now that we are providing clocking from each Cajun - it still is going up and down intermittently - like its timing out? Service provider has run extensive tests - ALL ONES etc - and says it definately is on our end.

Any help? There isn't much tech help available for the Cajun equipment now that Avaya stopped supporting Cajun. Anyone know a really good Cajun tech? We need help in setting up the P330Rs w/ the X330W-2DS1 mods in them. We have a R9.5 si running VOIP phones and a remote physical office with (12)4612IPs and also passing data files over the P2P T-1.

Thanks.

I would setup one t1 as a clock source and set the other to take timing from the network (provided by the other end)
You can't have two timing sources, for one thing they will never sync

What came of this? Did you check your 'Change synchronization' command to see what your current clocking source is?
