Hi All,

I am attempting to do a project where IT IS POSSIBLE to do P2P SIP (I believe you disable authentication) and you can call P2P SIP sets. The setup is equivalent to a KSU-less system just over IP instead. I'm not going to buy one of those systems like the old Avaya OneX QE or Aastra's once solution, because it's not necessary in my opinion.

The trick for me was to have subnet of IP addresses in the 172.0.0.200-210. I have Aastra SIP sets, that if you dial the last 3 digits of the IP address (assuming you have a dialplan blanked out), you can call the sets automatically.

This is a similar thing to what I want to do with a Grandstream HT503. I am treating this as another SIP device just one that can access a trunk. I would like to work like I'd call another Aastra or Polycom terminal.

However it does not work as I would like it to be.

the FXO is a 1FH, and the goal is to have simple dial out with 9+7 or 1=10 digit number.

Can someone walk me though getting this accomplished?
