Just to make sure, will a win98 system connect to a XP system over a peer to peer connection? This is something I haven't tried in a long time and was unable to walk a user through it over the phone. I will be going to site to make sure, but wanted to get confermation that this will work

Yes, it works, and something you may not have anticipated is that XP has its own firewall...that needs to be negotiated/turned off.
