We are a windows ad domain using a print server which users point to for the various printers we support. Printers are assigned an IP address via a dhcp server. This printer will not accept an ip address. Is this printer more for home networks? will it work in my environment? Thanks

The LJ P2015 series has a lot of issues with networking and I would definatly go for the LJ P2055 instead which is the latest replacement for the P2015.

Umm... wow. Never seen someone actually DO that.

I've used 2015's in network environments (although with a static IP) and never EVER had a problem with it. It's a workhorse little printer.

Just my 2¢

You might just be one of the lucky ones with a proper formatter... where the FW can be updated and where you did not have any issues with missing font capabilities or other "minor" issues.

Have a nice weekend ! [shadeshappy]
