P-T-P PRI IPO to CM CLID Not Working

Hi, I have an IP Office R11 connected to a CM via P-T-P PRI.

The IPO has Voice Networking Licenses, I have setup the IPO as QSIGB, CM is QSIGA, ICRs, Trunk Group IDs and Short Codes are programmed. Calls are working when dialing both directions, but not receiving caller ID on either end.

Any ideas what I'm missing?

Thank you!

Check in Monitor with ISDN L3 trace enabled if the IPO is sending CLI.

When I connected to CM I configured it as a regular PRI instead of QSIG since the CM can act as master for PRI, that way you don't need Voice Networking licenses.

Janni, When you set up as regular PRI you got CLID both ways?

Yes, CLI works both ways.

You can use ICR to set outgoing CLI from IP Office as you would with an ISDN trunk towards a provider.

Sorry should have clarified, Will this solution provide both CLID name and number, as we had them setup with p-t-p PRI but did not get CLID name either way?

So you do have caller ID. Classic caller ID through PRI is number only. Name is not standard.

You could try adding ZU to the short code routing the outgoing calls from the IP Office but that's a guess.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
