P series Raid 5 set up

Hello:

I have an IBM P series with 2 disk in it currently mirrored, and need to add more disk create a raid 5. Its been quite some time, but if I remember correctly we used a raid boot disk, to boot from and create the raid and spares. Then I just created what I needed for file systems? But it took some time to initialize, does this sound correct and is there a place on line I can obtain the disk, or file I need?
