P Magic 8 cant format a 6.48GB HD

I´m trying to format a 6.48GB Samsung HD w/ the Partition Magic 8.0 in XP, but it simply stops in the middle.
One time i got this message of "MBR bad".
I tried to use the FDISK and DiskPart to fix the MBR, but i doesn´t work.
Is there another tool that i can use ?

sounds like your hdd may be bad. Try running scandisk or downloading a hdd test from samsung.

yeah, i just did it, and i still got the same problem.
