I have 10 pots lines and 11 extensions with 2 port NAM. First of all , all lines rings at all phones but the voice mail started answering the incoming call after one ring that I need to stop.
"
Secondly the if a person is using their phone "7310" a second call gets forwarded directly to voicemail. This I want to stop too. Isn't the 7310 a two line phone.

You've got to make sure that all of the phones are forwarded to vmail in a GREATER amount of rings than the AA is picking up AND that they are not forwarded on busy which would send the second call immediately to vmail.

Feature * * 266344, Password: 266344
Terminals&Sets - Press the upper right button that has lit up on your phone.
Show set: ___- dial the extension number you want to program
223:223 - Press the upper right button again
Line access - Press the lower right button that has lit up on your phone.
Capabilities - Upper right
Fwd no answer - upper right
Fwd to: 269 - this should be the first port of your vmail (whatever comes up when you dial Feature 985) Then press the lower right button that has lit up on your phone.
Forward delay: 4 - this reflects the number of rings it will ring the phone before forwarding to vmail. Make this more like 6 rings...then press the Upper Left button.
Fwd no answer - Lower right
Fwd on busy - Upper right
Fwd to: None - if it doesn't say none then it needs to!

This needs to be done to every phone that has an outside line ringing on it.

Then go into vmail programming
Feature 983
Log: 102 0000 then OK (if you are using three digit extensions. If you are using two digit then log in with 12 0000 then ok.)
Press AA
Press Lines
Line number: - dial the first line number 001 then press ok
Line: 1 Ans: Y or AA - Press Table
Press Rings
Line: 1 Rings: 0 - Press the change button and enter 4 rings. Then Ok.

In this manner the calls will ring the extensions 4 times before the Auto Attendant picks up. When a call is transferred to an extension and the person doesn't answer, it will ring 6 times before their personal mailbox picks up. MRoberts

sounds like you have to change the Call Fwd Busy to "none" and change the rings before Auto Attendant answers. Follow the steps from MRoberts and you should be fine.
