Hi all,

Can somebody explain how to install OWS using DNA 5.4 in a stand alone computer.

I have DNA 5.4 cd with me, in that which application should i install for OWS only. nothing else i need from that cd. and to use for only one operator.

I was struck up in selecting SQL server type while installing DNA Aplication suite. however i selected SQLserver for stand alone pc. Am i correct? And continued the installation. at last when i open the programs installed, it is asking for user name and password. is it the same MDUSER & HELP?

Ericsson/Ericsson is to log in. You will need to set up User privilege in User Admin before you can log in OWS. If you have not installed DMG you will have no directories in OWS. DNA5.4 is not latest version, it is DNA5.5, your trial will expire and you will have no license available. upgrade to 5.5 latest SP or rebuild every 60 days.

I dont want DMG. who will do all these directory - data entry work. hehehee.

Just operator work station is enough.

Now, using that userid/password,(logging into Local DNA Server) i could log in. but it is giving message as "user authorization failed". and i could nt do any kind of changes in the operator manager.

I noticed one thing, there is no server found in DNA server configuration page. and i could nt add a new server into it, because of the above said problem.

what could be the reason

default Ericsson account does not have rights to open or configure OWS, you must set up rights to access applications in User Config in DNA, then log back in again to OWS. You have installed as a server, you will have dna_s folder on your PC, this is the server. its not possible to set up a client without a server. Why Dna 5,4 it is out of date as I say above? you cannot get a a license for this release.
