OWS/Ericsson PBXService problem 1

Hello all!
I´m trying to get OWS version 4.0_SP1 working on a windows2000 computer; but I get the following error in the event log:

Event ID:23
Source: Ericsson PBXService
Description:Service start failed. Unable to read Software\\Ericsson\\OPI\\CurrentVersion registry value.

I can´t get any updates/servicepacks from my supplier.
Any help ? Please!

Hi,

Look in the registry under
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Ericsson\OPI\CurrentVersion

you should find the following values (among others)

AlertToneDuration
AlertToneFrequency
EnableRinger
MD_Operator_port
PCMCode
ReceiveLevel
RingSoundFile
RingStyle
SideToneLevel
TransmitLevel

If the registry seems to be corrupt you could go to a working OWS PC connected to the same DNA Server (if you have one), export everything under
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Ericsson\OPI\CurrentVersion
and import it on the non-working PC. You might need to edit some of the values but for the most part it should be the same.

Thank you for your ideas; I´ve tried it and it didnt help (the entries in the registry are completely indentical).
Also when I click "OWS PBX Extension Line" in the controlpanel I get a "incorrect function" message.
