Owerwirting records

Hi!

I'm doing a simple DTS in SQL server which has one step in it that consists in to select about 26 fileds in one table which has 17,355 records.
The problem is that if I try to obtain information since 1998 to today it OVERWITES my records and just APPEARS the 1998 information, BUT if I SEGMENT the information since 2000 to today it brings me MORE RECORDS than the other period. Do you know what is happening??

You have to be more specific. You are doing a select statement in one step of the DTS and it replace records.
