I have a problem with mapping in owb. In fact, I had a problem with sequence object in the mapping. So, I solved the problem building a procedure "pre-mapping". This procedure had two functions: Drop and Creaate Sequence.
The mapping generates OK, but when execute the package, it runs OK, but your status becomes it invalid. This problem become impossible the execution through of the ORACLE JOB.

Tanks in advance,

Marcelo.

The basic problem here is that your package has a dependency on the sequence. When you drop an object Oracle will check if anything has a dependency on it and if so mark it as invalid.

This shouldn't be a problem normally as oracle will re-compile the package at run time.

It can be a problem if you have some tool or feature that checks the status of the package before execution.
