the current way I access my OWA over the internet is...

I have went over many RPC over HTTPS guides, but I can't seem to find the fix to my problem.

I want my outlook 2003 client to connect via the internet to my exchange server. The problem appers that it does not like Is there a better way to set this up?, I can't seem to find any guides that cover this part.

OWA is ideal for internet browser access, rpc/http is a separate entity. have you configured to ISA and GC servers correctly.

here is the only guide that you need and it details the way that rpc over http is to be set up with 4 different scenerios.

run the exe and it will extract the MS deployment guide. Make sure you read all of the details and add the correct registry settings.

on the outlook client you will have to configure the profile..

Thanks that guide filled in alot of gaps.

But I still have a problem.

When I setup my Server name on the exchange mail setup. I type in the external address of "0.0.0.0/exchange" or Both gives me errors and it won't connect. I think my problem is, I just need an ip address for this to work. But I can't access my exchange mail with just the external ip address. I need to add the "exchange" at the end.

if I connect with an local ip like " it works fine.
