Hi guys,

I need to reinstall from scratch a new Front-End OWA server.

The OWA server we had in place just crashed on us and we weren't able to do any restore. This server was on a DMZ.

Outlook Web acess is no longer functioning for us.

What would be the best practice to remove the damaged OWA server role that acts as a Front-end server from our organisation and reinstall a new box with the same FE role.

I want to give the new OWA server the same IP and computer name.

Should I just remove the damaged server from the domain and and the ESM console and then reinstall everything from scratch to the new server.

Any help or advise will be grealy appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Just as an FYI, putting an Exchange server in the DMZ is no longer a recommended scenario.

What *I* would do is build a new server INSIDE with the same name and do a /restoreserver installation.
