Hi everyone,

What permissions do I need for users to log on to Exchange using OWA? In IIS I have Basic Auth and Anonymous Access.
I've shared the WebData and WebTemp with all the permissions necessary.

When I log in I get fail to get inbox. It works fine on my account but then again I have full permissions to exchange.

I cannot use NT challenge/response. There are serveral users using one PC to check their emails.

What am I missing?

Thanks in advance.

Have you checked the OWA Troubleshooting Guide? When I first got into OWA, it answered many of my problems. Look at the Ms support site for:
Troubleshooting Guide for Outlook Web Access
It has Failed to get inbox as a very common problems with many things to check for.

Thanks guys. You pointed me to the right direction. Don't know why but I had to give everyone permission in UMD to log on locally.

Thanks again guys.

OWA works as a local application and as such you need to log on locally to be able to "run" it even though you are not at the machine.

Create a group called WebAccess and put in the users who are allowed to use OWA. Set this group with the log on local right.

Letting Everyone use OWA i.e. log on local is pretty insecure.
