I am trying to enable owa on exchange 5.5. I have IIS 4.0 and sp 4 also installed. When I enter address (or the servername)/exchange, I get a server error 500. The address that is in the browser bar when this happens is address/exchange/logon.asp. I can get to the web page but not owa.

This server has been used in the past for owa but was disabled when the web site got hacked (chinese hackers). Is it possible that the logon.asp file is corrupt? More likely I'm not doing something right with the config.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

check physically on the server - does that file even exist? It has probably been deleted. Rerun the service pack and it will put a new one on there.

The file is there. That was the first thing I checked. Re-run sp4 for exchange? I have even considered reinstalling the owa component?
