owa loading

hi,
when i connect to owa i get a message loading , there are no items in the inbox.
I can connect to owa with out any problem if my client registred to same DNS.

It sounds like maybe your firewall is stopping the WEBDAV extensions from working. Some firewalls don't like the extensions to WEBDAV that Microsoft has done. One way around this would be to implement SSL. This should tunnel the WEBDAV through your firewall and also improve security.

Useing SSL will also stop this behavior if you are useing any kind of proxy, either proxy server or your firewall my be proxying also.

I'm having the same problem as 6765408, I can't get OWA to get past the initial page with "Loading..." on the screen. I get an error that says: "the download of the specified resource has failed" and says it is from control_View20.htc within the exchange server. Googling hasn't helped.

This is on WinXP, IE 6.0.2600, and fully updated through windowsupdate.microsoft.com. I get a similar situation when I try from Mozilla 1.3 or Opera 7.11. I have set him up on Outlook XP (the full version) and that works fine, so it seems that the problem is somewhere on the system -- not the server nor IE specifically.

Well, I've gone and answered my own question, here's the link to the Knowledge Base article regarding this situation:

It has to do with making sure the default language is checked in IE, apparently that affects the whole system. It works for me...
