That is a 2007 option. Otherwise the only "light" option for 2003 is on the logon screen for users in OWA is the "Basic" option. Are you wanting that "Basic" to be default?
Yes. Basic is what I need. From what I have read, all I should have to do is enable forms based authentication in System Manager; however it is already enabled, but the basic option is not present. Ideas?
The Premium/Basic client selection option will only be visible on the OWA login screen if users are running Windows IE 6.0 or higher. Please note, Windows IE 5.5 or earlier will only be able to access the basic client.
But from what you say the Basic option is missing andonly the Premium exists? Hmm...
Nope, no ISA. The Basic option isn't listed, and when you log in, the Premium is used. I don't see anything out there about this issue unless ISA is in the mix like you said. The only oddity of our set up is that we are using Exchange 2003 on Server 2000, but that shouldn't matter.
I think I just figured it out. I didn't key into the fact that our logo was on the log on screen. So, when I dug into exchweb\bin\auth\usa I noticed that a previous admin apparently backed up the original logon.asp and made customizations. Now I just have to figure out what he removed and then put it back in.
