I have an Exchange 2k3 sitting on a Windows 2k3 standalone. I have a Checkpoint firewall. I have 3 uers checking email using IE7. I have one user (the owner) accessing email via his BlackBerry.

Here's the deal: I have had OWA running for over a year now and things were running smoothly. Starting in December the owner has come to me about 4 times now stating that he's not getting emails to his Blackberry.
I look at the Exchange server event logs and I'm getting no errors.....added to this that all Internet email and Internal email is working great.

The first time I called the service provider of the blackberry and I was walked through how to "Re-sync" the accocunt to our server. Reason giving was because I must have rebooted my servers for some reason...which is true because I performed Critical patches requiring reboot.

HOWEVER.... I have not rebooted the Exchange server for a while now. And today the owner comes and says he's not getting email to the mobile device. I logon to the mobile service provider account and sure enough, it can't sync up with my server and subsequent attempts to sync fail.

Have I missed some OWA configuration somewhere... maybe one of the patches I did from MS erased my configuration?

I"m going to reboot the entire server to see if this resolves the issue. But I'd sure like to know what's going on and why I'm loosing Sync with the mobile phone providers account for the owner's Blackberry.

Thank you for helping me out on this one.

Update:
I cycled the MS Exchange SA (Which also cycled the IS and MTA Stack) and attempted to sync the Blackberry account to the email address but still got an error message stating that it could not verify the email account information.
I then rebooted the entire Exchange server and I got a successful verification of the account. Now I'm just waiting to see if the email gets pulled down to his Blackberry.
