I have two servers. Both are 2003 server sp2. One is a DC and the other is an exchange 2003 server sp2.

My problem has to do with OWA. When users login to OWA they only have to type in there user name and password. Every now and again, randomly, they will have to type in domain\user name then password. For some reason or another integrated authentication keeps enabling itself on the Exchange virtual directory in IIS. I turn it off in IIS/default website/exchange and in Exchange system manager/..../protocols/http/exchange virtual server/exchange Once I do this everything goes back to normal.

It will run fine for a month or so but randomly it will turn itself on??? Anyone have any ideas how this could happen???

Did you modify the OWA page to include your domain automatically for the end user?

Yes, in the domain field it contains the Netbios domain name. We are not usings forms based authentication either.

Also, the domain name never disappears, only the Integrated auth changes on its own.

My guess is that it is inheriting a settings somewhere???
