OWA https certificate update

Hi,

I changed the url to access company exchange webmail from mail.company.com to webmail.company.com.

In doing so, each time internet explorer 7 and other browsers complain the server's certificate did not match its hostname.

Is there a way to update the root certificate to reflect the new subdomain name or do I have to purchase another certificate?

Is this an internally generated certificate? If so, generate another one.

If it's a third party trusted cert, get a new one.
