I am able to login to OWA (exch 2010 mb user) but anytime I attempt to do anything I get the following error;

Error--An unexpected error as occurred and your request couldn't be handled

I checked the server event log...nothing

anybody experienced this?

well I was able to figure this out my by self....

I setup redirection using this article....
In the article is stated to leave the redirection of /Public alone....

Well in testing, I removed http redirection from the /Public website, restarted IIS and

BAM!!!!!

I've got an error free OWA... thus far.

How were you able to remove the redirect to just the Public virtual directory in IIS on Exchange 2010? Every time that I do this it also removes the auto redirect for the /Exchange /Exchweb and /OWA directory and then I cannot get my TMG rules to work. These virtual directoris all seem to change together. Thanks for any assistances. Kind Regards, Vicki

Tori, forgive me if I miss something, but it's been a few months since I messed with it... but if I remember correctly, I had alot of troubles the directories you mentioned when messing with the redirects. I had to go back and manually set them up according to the post above. It was kind of a nightmare.

Here is how I have them setup now;

*Default Web Site
**redirects to **disable require SSL

*aspnet_client
**no redirect
**disable require SSL

*Autodiscover
**no redirect
**enable require SSL

*EWS
**no redirect
**enable require SSL

*Exchange
**redirect to "/owa"
**disable require SSL

*Exchweb
**redirect to "/owa"
**disable require SSL

*Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync
**no redirect"
**enable require SSL

*OAB
**no redirect
**enable require SSL

*OWA
**redirect to "/owa"
**enable require SSL

*PowerShell
**no redirect
**disable require SSL

*Public
**redirect to "/owa"
**disable require SSL

*RPC
**no redirect
**enable require SSL

*RPCWithCert
**no redirect
**disable require SSL

I hope that helps you...

Look at the IIS logs and see what it's reporting.

If you don't see what's going on there, then restore the original settings and verify things are working, then try again.
