I am having a problem implementing SSL for use with Outlook Web Access. We are running the following configuration:

Windows 2000 Advanced Server
MS Exchange 2000 Server

I installed Certificate Services and configured the server as a Enterprise CA; everything seemed to go OK. I was able to go to the certsrv site and access the Trusted CA certificate and sucessfully request a client certificate. I installed the server certificate on the IIS 5.0 server and set the exchange folder to require SSL. When I tried to bring up the OWA site using http:// I recieved a message that this site requires SSL and I should use however, when I used https:// I was told that the website could not be found.

Any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

please if you get it to work let me know the step by step, I would greatly aprreciate it. we are in same situation as you are. thanks

When you look at the Default Website you see 443 under SSL port? I got a cert from Verisign and added it and everything worked fine. Make sure to use only Basic Authentication. Dan
