Were currently have an OWA server on our DMZ and our clients can connect to it just fine. How do we go about using SSl on the OWA server. Do we have to use a third party or can we generate the certificate ourselves? Completely new to IIS so bare with me.

Thanks

James

I don't know about veritas there is another company called Verisign. The difference with these third party CA is you don't need to configure each browser to install the client certificate. It is already installed.

Go to verisign website they will show you step by step on how to do this. They also have 15 day trial.

you can generate the SSL cert yourself, but you'll need to install the certificate server and IIS from NT 4 option pack. Not neccessarily on the same box as the Ex 5.5 server.
